It was just a few weeks ago that Obama said .."The US is no longer a Christian country!".

..While just yesterday he said..."The US is one of the largest Muslim countries in the world!"....

Do you still think his phrase "my Muslim faith" was not a revealing moment...when the truth managed to slip out?

I am not sure that ANY reality can be revealed to an Obama supporter. I have talked to some & they are hammer heads, like the "Moonies" of old & a waste of time.

This and several other things give me upset stomach about this guy! nomosendero is correct! When I think of all the reasons he should not have been elected and think of the fact that there were so many that did not realize the peril of this presidency, I Think we are finished as a world power, maybe as a country. Like a tree that you cut the roots at its base, its dead it just dont know it yet! Not because this man is president, but because there are so many people in this country that can't see what is going on, and have no clue or think this direction is a good thing.

Here in Texas a law was blocked by the Democrats that would require valid ID to cast a vote! Now why would that be? Seems they think that "mickey mouse" voting is a good thing! or maybe mickey mouse voting ten times is OK! Makes you think they cant win unless there is fraud.

There is a comedy of errors that make me think we are done! stick a fork in us !

OK I'm thru ranting now! Apologies IG I just get crazy sometimes!

still can't figure out how he got elected since everyone I ask said they didn't vote for him. how do you find supporters to ask questions when no one will admit they voted for him.

Why even ask anymore? The guy is so obviously against everything American that he can be reliably counted on to do exactly the wrong thing at every turn, and then to lie about it.

The government doesn't want to run GM? Well, then why are they doing it and why have they engineered a phony bankruptcy that guarantees failure and a continual influx of billions of public dollars? The lie is so patently and obviously false, yet he goes virtually unchallenged. This is true about absolutely everything he has ever done.

Rak: I spent a couple weeks traveling up thru. Mich, Ill, Iowa and Ne. visiting some friends, and I have never seen so many Osama supporters in my life than in the state of Iowa, I was there in Des Moines for a couple days and went to the Casino a few times and everywhere I sat all you could hear was the people around you commenting in the positive abt. Osama, the bumper stickers covered a majority of the vehicles on I-80, here I was in the heartland of the USA and all you could see was his supporters, it took the pleasure out of that leg of my trip. I will say I hope that ALL his supporters get to pay the non-supporters tax increases. Jim

seems like we must just seperate from the christian churches

1. The US not an exclusive christan nation anymore. That would be a fact. A sizeable number of christians have turned non-religouis, we have muslims, jews, hindu, and every other religion in the US.
No, the US is not a chistian nation anymore nor should it ever have been a christian nation if you belief in the seperation of church and state.

2. Of the western nations, the US would have one of the largest populations of muslims. We have an estimated 4-10 million. Of course it's hard to grasp exact numbers because muslims are fearfull of publically declaring their faith (I've never seen so called "christians" spit out so much hate since 9-11. That's not exactly "christian like")
And he said it in (probably) Pakistan on a international relations trip. There's nothing wrong at all with saying that.

3. Maybe you forgot the speaking skills of "your" past president. He made so many mistakes, they made a yearly calender of "bushisms".
If you would of bothered to complete the entire quote (which you so obvouisly left out), it would of read "My muslim faith, (pause. correction) my christian faith." I guess when you're in the public spot light 24 hours a day you're not allowed to make a error in your words. Give the guy a break.

In 1892 the chief justice of the Supreme Court said that America was a Christian nation and that our laws were based on Christian principles. Because most people do not attend church anymore, we are more secular.

We are around 35th (plus or minus a couple countries because of questionable polls)
That puts us in the top 15-20%

Given that we are no where near Northern Africa, the Middle East, or Asia I think our ranking is very high.

Even by VERY conservative numbers, we're around 50th. Top 25%
Take the US and 3 random countries - odds are we have more muslims than the other 3 do.
