I ended up buying a Gforce GFTXP rifle in 400 legend as it seemed interesting and 40 cal. Is about the only gap I have in rifle calibers. The first one I bought was back in May of 2025 and it turned out to have a problem with the action / barrel fitting to where it didn’t shoot well at all.
These guns supposedly have a lifetime warranty but you know how that goes most of the time

Anyway they did send me a prepared postage label to send it to Texas to be repaired. It took about 4 1/2 months but I ended up getting a new rifle back and I will list the pros and cons in my opinion of the gun in general.
First impression is it looks pretty good, I would not have bought the gun if it didn’t have a wood stock and forend and even though my original rifle had prettier figured wood the one they replaced it with has stained hardwood with nearly no grain but has stippling on the stock and forend that is well done and to me is quite attractive much nicer looking than pressed in checkering. The stock also comes with a rubber butt pad, not a recoil pad but about a 1/2” thick pad that is nicely fit and does have some cushion effect. There are sling attachment studs and the front one is what retains the forend. The method of removing the barrel is fairly easy with just a screwdriver required. One side of the pivot pin has a screw slot and when you remove it you find it’s just a screw withe the head being the keeper and the pin pushes out the other side it is 9 mm diameter and is fit well. The was you open the action / drop the barrel is done with a trigger like action release in front of the trigger guard, the replacement rifle I got back this works nice and smooth , the first rifle I had this took considerable force to pull back and I didn’t like it as you need a lot of hand strength to operate it.
The barrel on mine is 20” and seems well balanced it has a front sight blade but there is no rear sight , instead there is a short picatinney rail that you can mount a scope or they do make different rear receiver sights that mount to a scope rail so if you want iron sights that would be the easiest but being it would sit on top of the rail the front sight would probably not be tall enough ? The muzzle is threaded but I don’t remember what thread they used it also has a thread protector cap installed. The rear rail is removable and I think a receiver sight could be mounted as the sides of the monoblock are both flat and parallel so there is plenty of meat there if you needed to D&T mounting holes. The extractor seems to work well with the rimless case, it has a slight spring to it so it can give some to allow it to engage the extraction groove in the case head or if you push a round all the way into the chamber past the extractor it can slip past without binding when you close the barrel. The top tang safety is one of the best I have encountered as I have numerous rifles and shotguns that have them and this one is smooth and positive. There is no play, no rattle, and when you thumb it forward there is no sound it silent and has a positive forward position.
So those are most of the pros except This rifle is all steel and wood I have not found a plastic part on it !
Next are the cons , The worst feature on the rifle is the trigger pull, both the first rifle I had and the second replacement gun had the same trigger. It’s not stiff or heavy it just has an uncertain long creeping pull that seems like you have to pull it forever before it finally goes bang. It is the strangest feeling trigger I have felt ever !
Once I cleaned the bore and held it up to natural light the bore and rifling look excellent not that I have any magic powers of judgment but it looks good . The chamber is another matter, It does chamber the one factory ammo that was available when I got my first rifle Winchester 215 gr. Power point in the silver box. One of the first things I found after firing a few rounds to sight in the scope was that the fired cases would not allow a .401 bullet to be pushed into the case mouth, not even close ! The 1 group I shot off of a lead sled rest at 50 yards did well it was just a 3 shot group but all three were closely touching probably a 1/2” to 5/8” at most.
So the chamber seems to be a minimum spec that does chamber the factory ammo but for handloaded ammo with a cast bullet it will not chamber them. I am not going to list all of the measurements and extra work this barrel needs to be more user friendly but it will chamber, fire and extract the one factory cartridge that I have tried.
If you just shoot factory ammo this might be fine for you if you can handle the trigger pull.
Those are my impressions and my limited experience with this rifle. They are made in youth models also and the calibers that I have actually seen available are, 223 Rem., 243 Win., 9 mm, 350 legend, 400 legend and supposedly 357 mag at some point and I know a lot of people are looking for that caliber.
