I myself have no hated for AR’s, maybe a lot of liberals do ?  I do own an old Ruger 44 carbine, and a 45 ACP Hi point carbine ( I know you’re laughing at that one ) and at one time a Hakim and a Rashid semi auto.
I do not have a progressive loader so I load one cartridge at a time and now that I am OLDER and SLOWER a single shot just seems right.

When I went to gunsmith school, I had an older good friend who I would get to talking about some current firearms, I would ask for his opinion and often he would say: "That is a fine firearm BUT to me it has one fault - it is a REPEATER!  ;D

maybe we should just go back to front stuffers. by the way a bolt or lever is a repeater

no laughing here. i had a highpoint 40 and it ate everything. gave it to the neighbors son and he put 10s of thousands of rounds through it. actually wore the rails so bad it started miss feeding. i told him to send it in for repair and they sent him back a new camo gun and 3 mags. now if you told me you have one of those ugly clunky handguns you might have got a smirk out of me
