Ironglow, tell me this: under which republican administration has federal total spending been less than that of the previous administration?
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

The question is...Which party sponsored that bill?  .......Do you 'give up' !
Why wasn't it vetoed or voted down?  As I already told you..congress is in recess..election year you know..

But even though the Annenberg sponsored, lefty leaning "Fact Check" admits it has been done..  http://factcheck.org/2012/08/about-those-republican-cuts/

Perhaps they delayed complete introduction, hoping to get a Republican house, senate and presidency..whereby they knew they would be getting the bill through....
....But if enough otherwise conservative voters refuse to put Obama out with their votes, then of course those provisions will likely never see the light of day..

Of course the answer to which republican administration spent less than the previous administration is none, it has never happened, at least in the last hundred years.

Now the question is why? (now I don't know all the reasons, but I can think of a few).
If you don't want the truth, don't ask me.  If you want something sugar coated...go eat a donut !  (anon)

Excellent points!  But one liners are easier as is voting for parties that can't win or have any power to change the course of a sinking ship.  Thanks for your posts.

The only proper guage is amount of increase ..

...Does the 2012 dollar buy as much goods and services as the 1995 dollar?  How about the 1955 dollar?  The 1935 dollar?
Maybe the 1905 dollar..  Hmm... each year the cost of living" is greater in dollars & cents, not really hard to figure out.
I want to make it  clear, I'm not defending the Republicans..nor do I believe any single pied piper politico is going to save our  nation.  I am primarily in favor of getting rid of the socialist/Marxist, Chicago mob now ruling over us, and replacing them with something better..not perfect, nothing man-made is.. but an improvement.
.............How about pitching in to help?

I agree with Ironglow about getting rid of Obama, BUT, should Romeny get elected you have to automatically shift gears and start being very critical about getting the Republican party to change it's leftist ways.  We know that Romney as president buys us at least 4 years to set the gears of actual change in motion, but we cannot allow one day to pass after Romney takes office to start the process.

I would suggest to Romeny that his first order of business as pres should be to start leaning on Congress to balance the budget.
I'm voting 3rd party in this election by writing in Jesus Christ for president.  Sadly even if this were an option most of you would still vote Republican because "It's a two party system."

There is a need for a third party . It needs to start on the local level and grow . Trying to compete at the top level with out a foundation is going to do more harm than good because much of the country has no clue what you stand for and you don't have a track record as a party .
If ya can see it ya can hit it !

+1 Ron Paul. If he makes a ballot I will vote for him. I know that there is no chance of him makeing a ballot. I am sick of watching the Republicans railroad  the election/nomination process from begenning to end.  ear
