Author Topic: Loyalty to Isreal Issue in GOP Cal. Senate Primary (Read 4500 times)

The California GOP is having a primary to select the candidate who will challenge long time Democrat Barbar Boxer for her US Senate seat in this 2010 election. One of the candidates is Tom Campbell, a long time California "moderate" (i.e. liberal) Republican who has served in the US Congress.

Other GOP wannabees have attacked Campbell for "anti-semitism" because in Congress he voted to reduce foreign aid to Israel by $30 million. He said that the increase to Israel would have been cut from foreign aid to Africa and that no, he's not "anti-semitic."

There you have it. Jewish millionaires in Israel and African potentates are represented in Congress. Who represents the rank and file American people? That's the real issue.

You can't run for public office in the US without taking a loyalty oath...an oath to Israel's "right to exist."

Why is no candidate ever asked if he/she believes that America has "a right to exist?" Why are candidates for public office expected to display more loyalty to a foreign country than to the American people?

Is this too much to ask?

Bingo. A predominately Jewish NY City borough had a long serving Gentile congressman who they loved until he bucked the Israel lobby on one little thing. You would have thought that the guy was the reincarnation of Heinrich Himmler. The Jews put forward their own candidate and the long serving Gentile guy was history.

Sarah Palin is not wearing an Israeli flag pin. It is a blue star service pin signifying a family service member. Easily checked out by looking at pictures of her at public events. She wears it a lot. However, at the Tea Party Convention, she does have it on upside down.

Some seem to think blindly supporting to the point of worship is the Christians responsibility to Israel. It's not, God promised to bless those that bless Israel, and that does not require funding a government that violates the commandments and has by in large been taken over by Jews in name only. Look at the cycle of sin and redemption in the OT; if Israel was engaged in Baal worship on the mountaintops (as they have in the past) would it be our responsibility to send them $ for firewood to burn on the altar? Would it be our responsibility to defend them from the Babylonian captivity God sent in judgment for sin? Not to mention that the two great commandments confirmed by Jesus refer to God & neighbor, no particular nation there, in fact every tribe, tongue and nation will be around the throne, not just Americans and Israelis, and none of them for being Jewish. Only one name by which men are saved.

I used to attend townhall meetings with congressmen, etc. First, I would ask if they believed Israel had a right to exist. Like pavlov's dogs they all said "yes" and "Hell yes."

Then I asked if the US had a right to exist. Responses varried from "Huh" to "Gee, no one ever asked me that before" to "That's a trick question" to "Well I suppose so."

Americans have been brainwashed to accept second class citizenship.

A spokesman for osama and also biden are complaining that Israel is going to build 1600 dwellings in Jeruselum. Jeruselum is a Holy city, it belongs to Israel, the Godless ones have no right there, they are trespassers and should be removed permanently. I hope to live long enough to see Israel reclaim ALL of the land God gave them. Israel is now partially occupied by 5 Godless nations. POWDERMAN.

Matthew 24:15 & Revelation 11:1 tell us that the temple will exist in the end times. In order for the temple to be rebuilt, the Muslim shrines Al Asqa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock on the original mount will need to be torn down. The context in which scripture indicates the temple will be rebuilt is in conjunction with a one world religion worshipping the man of lawlessness, the son of destruction; 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4. Many scholars have taken this to mean an ecumenical merging of the major faiths ... its really not clear how we get there from here. Destruction of Islam seems unlikely as they will nuke Jerusalem before they give it back to the Jews, and Armageddon comes after the anti-Christ is revealed in the temple.

With the politicization of the 3 Abrahamic religions, it wouldn't take much to imagine that the politics merge before the faiths, and then those in those faiths who don't go along are the ones eliminated (kinda goes in line with Jesus promise of persecution to those who follow). Either way, Muslims will have to agree to the removal of their 3rd holiest site before the temple goes up.

No argument there. Presently in Israel they are continuing to breed pure red bulls to sacrifice on the temple mound to consecrate it after they tear down the two shrines. Still doesn't answer how Islam leaves the area ... peaceably or otherwise.

TN. The muslims are definitely the abomination of destruction spoken of in Mathew 24-12. I saw nothing that would lead me to believe that the Godless ones would help build the Temple. It will be built by Israel, I'd imagine that Christians would help too, but not while osama is in office. Doesn't matter if the muslims like it or not, if God wants it done, it will be, he will see to that. In the Bible theres a story about Israel being greatly outnumbered, as usual, and they prayed to God for his blessings and deliverance. Gods angels went through the enemy camp and confused them to the point that they slaughtered themselves. By morning there was no enemy to fight. God will cleanse his city of the abominations, meaning muslims. He might use Israel to do it, or he might do it himself as he has in the past. POWDERMAN.

TM7, I would've thought the momentous birth of a red heifer without spot, lauded by the Jewish leadership in Israel as a sign that its time for the building of the 3rd Temple, or the rebuilding of the 1st depending on which pew you sit in, would've caught your attention. Numbers 19 requires that a red heifer without spot for sacrifice to purify the site of construction and those who will participate. Very particular sacrifice, and one that zealots are anxious to conduct ... once that pesky Dome of the Rock is removed, along with the Mosque. Think it was in 1985 that some folks had a plan to remove the Dome, and they wound up in jail for possession of high explosives with intent to detonate. That red heifer is being protected and bred to encourage a line of pure red cows. Don't honestly know where they are with that.
