Sharke: Yes some of us have been there. I have been all over the middle East, Israel, Lebanon, Saudi, Egypt, Turkey, Syria, Iraq, and Jordan.

Going to Israel was almost like coming home. Flush toilets, and most people I met spoke English.

I always find it funny that the Democrats tend to side with our enemys (Iran, The PLO, and Syria) against Isreal while the Republicans openly support Isreal and will do what is needed to help them defeat our combined enemy's. But most Jews in CA and NY will vote for the Dems while professing a love of the homeland of Isreal. Go figure?
Isreal has flown over Iraq in the past. They took out the Nuke facility at Osarik in the late 70's and with Sadam having high end Russian and French gear (AAA and Radar) there the Isreali's were still able to destoy the facility before it was opperational. Flying over Syria to do so. They too never saw the Isreali planes.
I think if Isreal want ot make a hit on Iran. They will not consult Obama, will figure out a way to get what they want done, much like they did on Entebi Uganda (Mid 70's) and leave telling the US about the attack after the attack is under way.
I hope this does not sound bad but they are resourceful and sneaky and will do what is needed to get the job done. If that means taking out Iran with a strike or multiple strikes they will to protect themselves from Morons who hate only to hate.
Explain to me again how Islam is a religon of Peace? If some group of Christian were to preach hate and activly murder other religons the other Christians would renounce them and say this is not our religon. The other Islamsics do not. We should ban Islam. I know the whole 1st amendment says they can freely worship as they want. But we already curtail some religons.
Mormans are not allowed to practice Pologomy (multiple wives)
Rastafari are not allowed to smoke Dope
And many others that we deem as socially unacceptable or illegal. So why would we allow a religon that calls for the slaughter of Billions of people that do not believe what they believe, unless they believe what they believe and convert. I say chuck every last one of them out.

Far as I know, nobody in Israel voted for any Democrats here, and Jews in this country do not live in a land where everyone wants them dead. I see no connection here to what is really happening. ??

What I see is a country who will go into survival mode, no matter what anyone else says or does. Israel can be weak and die like their enimies want, or fight and live. It's as simple as that. Don't matter who is wrong or right...or how people vote here in this land. Doesn't matter what we think either, including me, I can't change a thing, and nobody else can either at this point. The strongest will live, and more than likely the first strike will be pretty important like all conflicts. Just the way it is.

I do not think anyone here glorifies or worships death, most seem to understand that war sometimes is neccessary and most are not foolish enough to believe that we can just talk it out and all be friends.

Believe it or not a man like Ahminjad (?) or Bin Laden will cut your head off in front of your children and then gut them out with no emotion whatsoever.

There are evil people in this world that will not understand your desire to make peace..that is not what they are after..they are out to kill you and your family.

Most people on this board seem to understand that and are not willing to lay down and let them.

Thats why our brave voluntary warriors of all branches are out there right now killing them for us..YOU INCLUDED.... they are willing to give their lives protecting you and I. So what we have here is Iran, they want to build a bomb and are saying openly they want wipe Israel off the map. We have a mulslim president, whose administration says it will shoot down Isaeli jets if they cross Iraqi airspace on the way to stop this threat that we already established in the first line here.

Now I understand that if you think in a small way, that Iran is no threat to you. I can understand that a naieve mind could think that a country half way around the world is no threat to them. September 11th 2001, Remember that day? Some poor, dumb jokers, for no good reason came halfway around the world just to crash jets and kill Americains. AND NOT BECUASE WE BOTHERED THEM FIRST!
