Is that one website the best you can do ? There you have one man on a mission of his own, trying to rewrite history, something like Brown's "DaVinci Code"... An interesting tale for those science-fiction fans who seem so numerous now, but sadly bereft of coraborating scholarship. Mr Brook apparently claims that the "real" Jews all migrated to today's Khazakia when the diaspora was forced upon them. Since there were 12 tribes, such a notion defies reason, especially since the millions obviously had to find work or forage along the way.
Millions on a single trail would make such a move not only inconvenient and unwieldy, but would be asking kingdoms along the way to enslave them ..again.
Even the Wikipedia explanation you cited, stated that these Khazakians were only partly converted to Judaism, and then only in the 9th century, some 900 years after the diaspora !

World history is replete with stories of people displaced & replaced. It would be difficult to find a land where this has not been done. Almost invariably it is the strong replacing the less strong. The ironic situation here is that the Palestinians Muslim brothers could easily afford a place for them to call home, after all the Islamic countries in the region have a land mass 500 times the size of tiny Israel..much of that land simply lying uncultivated and unused, just as present Israel was until 1948.
The Palestinians could follow the example of the Jews, take some of the neglected lands of their Muslim brothers and make it into a virtual "land of milk & honey". I would even be expecting that the Israelis would be willing to help them with the latest techniques for agriculture and other pursuits. They have much to teact the Palestinians since they have already accomplished the milk & honey thing, plus it would help assure the peace they all claim to want.
They were given the Gaza strip some years ago. The Gaza strip has some of the most beautiful beaches in the Mediterranean. Have the leadership in Gaza developed resorts, catered to trade and built scientific institutions and colleges..built factories and invited in the various agencies of the world to help provide expertise in doing these things ?
