Hi again all...sorry for the delayed response...I've been moving...to Oklahoma...you know how the Army likes to move you around...stuff has been in storage for a month...
Anyway..I appreciate all the hints and tips. I'll admit, I am a rookie when it comes to magnum calibers, but I am no rookie to rifles in general. Being Army, I know my way around small arms....qualify with 38-40 out of 40 every year with M-16's...but who cares. I grew up shooting, and will continue to do so, and I'll pass what I learn to my boys when the time is right.
As for the sandpaper rounds...no way they are going in MY rifles. I have broken in rifles without cleaning as mentioned and they can drive tacks...and I broke in this rifle having cleaned after each round, just to try something different. This is the first time I have done this, and I cannot see a difference yet as I have not done enough shooting to justify a qualified result or opinion.
Yes, I have thought about a muzzle brake, just to make it alittle more comfortable to shoot, but I see alot of mixed opinions on this too.
And lastly, I take all things in stride. Any comment pro or con, is information for me. Thats what I'm here for...to learn what I don't know...and I don't know alot...LOL. I don't take things to heart...and I have a good sense of humor, so dont sweat it.
Sorry so long
Lock and Load!
