cant see it without scanning and wont do that. that said if there is oil that can help turn around this country's economy and strength thats more important then yuppy campers wanting wilderness or even me as a hunter. they have no problem destroying or polluting the citys they live in but think they should have control of a different state or section of land a 1000 miles away. i say get the federal government out of the land control powers they have and turn all the fed lands back over to the states and let the voters in that state control how the land in their back yards is used. not some hippies in power in DC

Couldn't get the app to open. If this is about the public lands that BLM are thinking of selling off, NO. Should be up to the people of what state the land is in. Put it on the state ballot, who wants to buy it, why do they want to buy it, how much and what do the people get in return from the sale.
We keep trying peace, it usually doesn't work!!Remember(12/7/41)(9/11/01) gypsyman

The same, or near same, article.

                                   https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2025/07/trump-public-lands-exploitation-blueprint-james-watt-ronald-reagan-interior/

When it comes biology and nature, Pres. Trump is more like Biden, has near zero knowledge of the subject.

Not far from where I live there’s a huge solar panel ‘farm’ built on land cleared of forest for the project, clearly visible from the highway. It’s quite an eyesore. I’d bet that same amount of land, in the right area of course, with oil pumps instead of panels, could be more beneficial. If energy companies are going to use the land, get the best bang for the buck.

DITTO, with Lloyd..  ..And I won't take in any of Mommy Jones' propaganda.

Maybe the lefties want to cover that acreage with solar farms..

IG: I knew that Mother Jones would be a turn off. I could not find the article anywhere else. Too bad that your politics censors what you read. You are an intelligent man. It is not like an article from a leftist publication is going to infect you.
