They probably think that because
so many 21st century people embrace
stupidity and uneducated ignorance
and make excuses for criminal
activity and even admire some criminals

   And the following moves were all strokes of brilliance;

  1) Getting 13 of our troops murdered, because the C-in-C failde to maintain a perimeter

   2) leaving hundreds, perhaps thousands of Americans at the mercy of savage terrorists

   3) Handing over enough arms and equipment ($85, 000,000,000 worth) to make the newest  terrorist state, about the 6th best equipped army in the world!

  4) Presenting the Chinese and Russians with our latest gear and technology to reverse engineer..so the new weapons can be used against us.

   5) Removing our petroleum dominance..and handing back control of our strategic policies... to OPEC

   6) Surrendering our great petroleum resources and the income it generates, to others, such as Iran and Russia.

   7) Quitting Afghanistan completely ..so China could move in and start mining the trillions of dollars worth of minerals.

   8) Failure even begin to question China's part in the Covid plandemic.

   9) Building China's economy, while putting us in debt by paying the lazy NOT TO WORK!

  10) Struggling to take away the guns held by we law-abiding citizens, while seemingly not even noticing the slaughter taking place in Democrat run cities...every weekend..

Hunter Biden collects $1.5 billion from the CCP..along with an unknown sum for "the big guy"!  Are all those blessings handed to the CCP and listed above...Just a "coincidence" ?

Yes..truly brilliant moves..would you like a couple dozen more examples?

QUESTION: Considering Obama's administration and the confusion led now by Biden... can you offer 3 things they have done that have been in the interest of and of a benefit to... America and her citizens ?

I should have also added that we
let our government give away our
hard earned tax dollars to people
that don't care anything about
America while the citizens that pay
into the system have to scrape by,
and although we have the
best educational facilities in the
world,  our students can't compete
head to head with some prepubescent
kid from india or asia when it comes
to scholastic matters, and our own
students are barely literate and can
only use slang

We had an exchange student from Holland for the 86/87 school year.
She made straight A's without cracking a book.
The stuff they were teaching in the senior year, our little Dutch girl had in elementary school.

My son and I hosted exchange student girls a few years ago..his from Mexico and ours from Ecuador.
They seemed much more advanced than our own local students.
Another exchange student who we became acquainted with, was from South Korea.  Very smart girl!
In South Korea, they really go to school !

In school before breakfast..long days and little vacation for summers.  Of course, we should keep in mind, exchange students are likely to be more accomplished students.

Agreed, United States' liberal government historically spends billions on pork barrel projects that do nuthin to further education.
The universities have turned into cesspools of liberal institutions using government funding, cranking out second rate liberal propagandists posing as "school teachers" that indoctrinate  rather than educate public school kids.

Blacks can't expect to ever get out of poverty by having a 25% high school drop out rate.

Our education system has devolved to the lowest common denominator.  Smart students aren't given the education they need and are held back by waiting on the less smart students dragging the system down.  Smart students should have separate advanced schools to go to.

At least everyone graduation high school should know how to balance a checkbook and make a personal budget.  They should also know the Constitution and why the amendments were put there in the first place, as well as the structure of our government and how it is supposed to work.

Quote from Brookings,.... a liberal/left think tank!

" Let politicians, schoolteachers and administrators, community leaders, ministers and parents drill into children the message that in a free society, they enter adulthood with three major responsibilities: at least finish high school, get a full-time job and wait until age 21 to get married and have children."

. .  Smart students aren't given the education they need and are held back by waiting on the less smart students dragging the system down.  Smart students should have separate advanced schools to go to.

Exemplary students used to be able to skip
ahead to grades commensurate with their
ability to do the work. Things haven't been
that way for a very long time.
My own mother graduated from school
at 16 but could have finished the year
before if not for circumstances.
A young relative could have advanced
3 grades had he been allowed to a
decade ago, but the school officials
wouldn't even think of it even though
the school counselor and his teachers
urged it

We have that same problem in all
of American business. Exemplary
employees with the affinity and
exceptional ability and qualifications
are often passed by because of
quotas and political correctness and
other senseless factors.
That's why we're lagging farther and
farther behind other countries that
shouldn't even be in the running
and kids from 3rd world countries
that don't even have a modern toilet
can run away with 1st place in
American spelling bees and other
scholastic contests, and snag
the good technical jobs after
graduating school

About the Quote from Brookings. Here is the extended/complete comment if you are interested:
Quote
Ron Haskins, co-director of the Brookings Center on Children and Families and Budgeting for National Priorities Project, explains exactly what it takes for poor teens to make it to the middle class:

"Let politicians, schoolteachers and administrators, community leaders, ministers and parents drill into children the message that in a free society, they enter adulthood with three major responsibilities: at least finish high school, get a full-time job, and wait until age 21 to get married and have children."

Haskins has the facts to back himself up here.

Of the American adults who followed these three rules, only 2% wound up in poverty and nearly 75% made it to the middle class ($55,000+), according to Brookings.

Of course, there's more involved in raising successful young adults than giving them a check list and sending them on their way. We need the people and policies in place to steer them in the direction of the kinds of choices that will lead them into the middle class, too

That is all true, but with one small caveat...  We should all (or at least most of us) know, that successful parents  do far more with their children, than "giving them a check list sending them on their way" !

..And as for the "people and policies", that should be the parents..   ..Butof course, some parents are ill equipped to offer any worthwhile counsel.  ...Just more repercussions from Johnson's "war on poverty" !

Unfortunately we have many that
contribute their DNA just for the
hail of it. The closest example here
is the lifelong thief and addict at
the enabling grandma's house.
He has 5 illegitimate children that
I'm aware of with 5 different baby mamas
Next closest is the section 8 directly
east. 3 generations that never punched
a clock all living off you and me

We have a whole lot of useless sandbaggers
with hoardes flocking here daily that
couldn't even write a 4th grade level book
report with pen and paper even if they
received a c note afterwards for the effort

Want to see a failed K-12 education system? Come on down to New Mexico. State leaders are bragging that we have improved from being 50th in the nation to 49th this year.  ::) Who runs the education system? The state and not local school boards. A school board that doesn't go along peacefully with what the state mandates get yanked from office by the governor and replaced by someone that takes her orders. Legal? Probably not but it has happened this year with nothing being done about it. The state is run by democrats whose motto is to throw more money at the problem but any and all go to the next grade every year, ready or not. Competence in reading and math skills is around 37% and that is only in a few schools. Most are lower. If you want your children to have a good education here private school is the only way to go. 60% of the state's budget is spent on education and we are only one step up from the worse in the country. The democrats that are always in control of the state cry about the dismal situation yet have no clue as to a cure. I don't believe that we are stupid. The young people are simply not given the instruction needed. No child is left behind, everyone get a trophy, and are sent out the door unequipped to deal with the world.

That is a fair analysis of the problem nationwide. The No child left behind Act became part of Federal Education Law during the Bush administration in 2000. It was anticipated years before in States such as New York which introduced minimum competency tests required for graduation with a High School Diploma.
The problem that developed was that there were different passing grades for different students…..no child left behind.
The fault there was a fatal misinterpretation of what “left behind” meant. Sure, a child who is doing poorly should be given extra help but the reality is that someone is always going to be left behind. Not everyone gets everything right. Not every child is going to get a trophy.
Once this truth was ignored, the program was doomed.
The NCLB Act was replaced during the Obama administration in 2015 with the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA).

Thanks for your clear explanation DG.  I had no idea that it meant the destruction of standards of measurment.

They should have known better, even a farmer's market cannot continue, if each is using a different measurment..or some a certain few were to always be freely given a 20 ounce pound, or others a 10 piece dozen.

In Alabama I know from what a co-worker said about the questions are different for certain people or areas.  I know a white co-worker who's child signed up to take the ACT test for college entrance in Selma instead of Auburn.  The son took it at Auburn and was borderline passing.  Took it at Selma later and passed it with flying colors.  Child said the test was easier so minorities get a chance to get into college.  This also may be done by different school districts.  My kids didn't know as much as I did when they graduated high school.  At least common sense things.  I had to teach them how to balance a checkbook and about the Constitution and why it was written the way it was.
