Note on sushi vs sashimi. Sushi is made with rice and some fillings like fish or vegies, usually wrapped in seaweed. Sashimi is fresh fish, often sliced and arranged ornamentally, like in the form of a heron or  flower.

I have been to very few places where I thought the fish sushi was palatable. I can tell just by inhaling through my nose when I walk into a place. The fish normally is not fresh enough. It has to be very fresh, which in Japan, means frozen immediately after being caught, then thawed immediately before being used. Our concept of fresh fish is simply wrong given the realities of fish and fishing and transportation. The Japanese have it right.

I was in the hospital/rehab hospital for a number of months.  Afterward I could not drive myself as I was still had paralysis.  I was shocked at what a Whataburger cost a few years down the line when I could drive again.

whataburger is among the better ones
if you go to a decent one, but i agree
they're approaching the worth it vs. not worth it
line.

It seems odd that folks are so obsessed with food these days.  Next to dogs they seem to obsess over food  as much as sex.

Gotta love swampy!, obsessed with food = talking and poking fun about fast food jernts. Then we go to a Church. Ahhhhahaha! Isn't it fun to be amongst the trolls  err Chosen!

people obsessing about sex is why you are here swampman. but I guess if you obsess in the dark with the lights off and fully clothed its not obsessing, just procreating.  ::)

This post makes about the least amount of sense of anything I've ever read on this site.  Thanks for breaking that record.  It wasn't easy.....
