College Students Sign Petition To Ban Pressure Cookers           Michael Miller   You can’t make this stuff up. But, you can pretend to be a “liberal chick” and walk around a college campus asking students to sign a petition banning pressure cookers.
ClashDaily.com’s pretend lefty coed, “Liberal Chick,” got dozens of students to sign the petition. Watch the short video; it’s hilarious – and scary, too.

Those  kids was thinking if banning pressure cookers could "save one life"
Because they are so filled with concern for their fellow man.
I wonder how concerned they would be with the well being of their fellow man,,, if there was a ban on the trigger device on bombs (((cell phones))))) !!!!!!

Question for liberals here: Do you ever get tired of trying to ban inanimate objects, or regulate behaviour for "our own good"? Do you ever get sick of telling others that you know what is best for them and thier lives, that you know better than they do what is good and what is not good for them?
Hi NSA! Can you see how many fingers I am holding up?

Apparently no, they never will run out of things to ban or regulate. Our Colorado legislature just passed two more "feel good do nothing"  gun control bills to go along with the three Hickenlooper signed last month. Do nothing that is except trash our second and fifth amendment rights. By the way "Hickenlooper" is the governor's actual name just in case anybody thought it was a joke but then again Hickenlooper as governor IS a joke.
The story of David & Goliath only demonstrates the superiority of ballistic projectiles over hand weapons, poor old Goliath never had a chance.

I've got two kids in college. They both have a lot of learning to do. It's that combination of idealism and ignorance that makes ideas like banning pressure cookers possible.

As for banning pressure cookers, I say there should be a program like concealed carry training for people wishing to use a pressure cooker. In the wrong hands, anything cooked in a pressure cooker takes like over-boiled cabbage. Meat has the texture of wads of wet sewing thread. In competent hands, it's a great tool for some fine cooking.

Thats a good one conan. I'll have to remember it for future reference.

That  explains liberalism-combination of idealism and ignorance.

I was quite the liberal as a young man. Then I matured and let my heart just do what it was intended to do, Pump blood, not think.

I think there should be crock pot training too. You can do some horrible things with a crock pot. I can't count the number of times I've had some kind of barbecue stuff done in a crock pot where perfectly good meat was reduced to a stringy mass of blecch. Cook it for another ten minutes and you either have petroleum or diamonds, not sure which.

SO they want to ban a cooking vessel because someone used one as a bomb part.
It looks like they also used the powder out of fireworks.  So will they ask that these too are banned in order to save a life?
Now I think if we asked these same kids to help ban pot to save the lives of many drug dealers, drug mules, drug producers and a whole bunch of innocent people along the boarder that the drug trade is killing with violence.  Not the over dose of the drugs.  I think they would then shy away and some how they are ok with a few people dying qand will state personal choice, freedom of choice and on and on to justify smoking a little pot.
