the flat grind or no is what i
was wondering about. in their
illustrations, it looks exactly like
a flat grind as does their photos
of their hudson bay. well. .upon
handling a hudson bay there are
lines forged in at the handle/blade
juncture that give the appearance
of a flat grind, when in fact it is
a very steep sabre grind. to me,
that's almost useless. if the grind
was even halfway up the blade
width, it would be a better edge
than supplied from the factory.
i could buy a quality german-made
e. christopher blade and put one
together, but if condor offered a
ready made something that was
close for the price, i thought
that might be the route. i've
always been better served by
the flat ground knives i've
used and owned.
