.357 058 and frustrated to the max

Last night on gunsamerica I found what appeared to be a mint condition Topper 058 straight grip combo in .357/20 gauge for $199.00.  Well after buying it, I received a message this morning that the gun had been purchased in store yesterday and was no longer for sale.  This seems to happen to me every time on gunsamerica.  I guess I need to stick with gunbroker.  I was so exited about the riffle, I will probably post in the classifieds that I'm looking for one.  Crap, I hate it when this happens.

Definitely would ruin your high. I can imagine your excitement till you got the bad news :'(

Yep, bummed.  Are that that hard to find with the color case hardened receiver and straight grip.

Gunsamerica.  Same problem, twice.  But they usually have a 'sell in store' note.  Is a bummer though.

Robert, sorry to hear about that happening. Did you contact the seller and discuss your grief? Surely if they're going make it available locally, they will have a better response time for closing their ads. Also, perhaps if GA knew about this happeniing so often they may change their posting rules.

Shop where you are treated well and dont linger on a 'buy it now' if/when you ever find what you want. Ive discovered that 'if' I want something so do a bunch of other bidders......

Yep, I never see them around here either except one time. I lucked out and scored mine at a local gun auction. The other people bidding must have gotten discouraged when they saw me keeping my hand up the whole time  ;D

Couple local shops had the standard .357 and 44's  in stock if anyone wants a number pm me. I didnt look on the H&R shelve just seen some on a display rack. I was after powder.
