Why has all other presidents released their college records?
Why is it that other presidents, including Clinton, can actually relate to the American people? Is it because they were raised here, and not in some foreign country?
Why does he hate millionares and billionares, yet gladly take their money? America is supposed to be the country of upward mobility.
Why does he hate ALL fossil fuels, even though our WHOLE economy DEPENDS on them?
Oil for gasoline, diesel fuel, fuel oil, jet fuel, plastics, paints, synthetics.
Coal for powerplants, synthetics, synthetic oil, plastics and medicines.
Natural gas for home heating, water heating, cooking, even clothes drying, power plants, making hydrogen, fertiliziers, some vehicle fuel.
Instead of pushing solar and wind, which have their limited place, why not algae for oil and natural gas, synthetic fuel from coal?
There are millions of people who work in all this industry or industry that requires this industry.
Virtually all our food is requires some type of fossil fuel, whether being shipped to markets, kept refrigerated, canned, dried, frozen, using some type of fossil fuel.
Does he want us to go back to the 1800's and live off the land using farm animals, natural fertilizers, no electricity, no running water, no sewage treatments, no internet.
Solar is only effictive in certain areas of the country without requiring some type of battery back up. Batteries require fossil fuels to make. Steel requires coal to melt iron ore. All metals require fossil fuels to melt into products. Some type of fossil fuel is needed to make the solar cells or solar heaters.
Wind is only cost effective if you have 20mph wind constantly, which is the plains states and some coastal areas. Not many people live in the plains states so they don't need much electricity. The vast expensive infrastructure IS NOT IN PLACE to transmitt the wind energy to where people live.
The vast infrastructure is already in place from existing power plants and existing natural gas wells. Wiring and pipelines and utitilies are already in place and took billions of dollars over 150 years to put in place. Solar and wind ARE NOT going to happen overnight.
If he wants everyone to buy hybrids, using vastly limited lithium ore batteries, and electric cars and trucks, we have to have at least a 20% increase in the power supplies to charge these vehicles. Wouldn't natural gas and diesel vehicles be a better option? Infrastructure is in place for connections. Diesels get better mileage like hybrids, even if it is not quite as good, it is a step in the right direction. Why hasn't he changed over the postal delivery trucks and federal fleet vehicles to natural gas? Longer range, quicker filling than electrics.
Why does he not want to get rid of the inheritance tax so family farms can stay in business and not be sold to giant agribusiness companies to pay the taxes, or broken up and subdivided into developments? People have paid taxes all their lives, accumulated hard earned wealth, only to have half of it to go to the government instead of their heirs.
Why doesn't he bust up the large banks into smaller, not to big to fail banks? His banking reforms didn't help the people, it only helped the banks.
Why is he using the EPA to shut down whole industries, or make them jump through so many hoops to get a job done, which provides badly needed jobs, like pipeline construction? I had one job held up for a year. It was only a mile of natural gas pipeline along a state highway. Too much bureaucracy and paper shuffling.
Just backing off a little with the EPA, allowing drilling offshore again, and allowing drilling on the previously leased government lands, and not shuting down the coal plants, would drop the unemployment rate about 1%.
My belief is his socialist/facist/communist leanings want to bring capitalist America to it's knees, and make it into a glorious socialist state utopia, where everyone lives in a 500 sq ft house, drives an electric golf cart car, uses solar and wind power when it is available, doesn't take vacations, doesn't travel, but just sits at home watching TV, and works a minimum wage job, has a bandaid health care system, while all the educated elitists get to keep their wealth. Only if you are a "party member" do you get a chance to get some of the "privilages" offered by the state.
