Yea I saw that... there has been a few since eBay opened it back up... I was able to get a camo stock set for 76$ but have seen them go over 100... A Lam butt alone when for almost 100 the other day. SOMEBODY has disposable income... ;) ;)
 
There is also a 45Colt barrel right here on our classifieds $200!  I know its not made, but $200!?!?   
 
I am as guilty as the next guy for buying a complete gun to get a rec or a stock set than selling off other pieces. BUT I don't gouge!! Thats a 125-160 barrel, maybe a shade more cause its discontinued, and then for top $ needs to be perfect unfired condition but thats it! At least IMHO, for what ever thats worth... ::)
 
eBay and Gun Broker get way outta hand!!

There was a .223 barrel listed the other day, $75 buy it now, before i could hit the button to buy it someone bid $40 and by by BIN.  Last I seen it was at $123 plus shipping

The was a 22 hornet barrel on ebay a few weeks back that was bid at well over $300 and had a fair bit of time left to go on the auction.   I guess if I ever really need some cash I will auction all my Handi stocks and barrels on eBay. :P

I was just on eBay and saw a 500S&W barrel sell for $227.50 .I would be tempted to sell mine if I had one :)  .A 45/70 barrel only went for $179.50 :(    what is it with these people? is it that they can't resist bidding on a auction??? :o

I wondered the same thing. But, when you factor in the fitting and shipping costs, you end up paying at least $160 to get a rifle barrel from the factory. The BIGGEST thing I think is that like me, people are Instant Gratification types and don't want to have to Wait 3-6 weeks to get a barrel back from H&R. Sometimes I am willing to pay more if I don't have to wait. I have No Patience. Lol. :)

I just had a thought...  If the new .44 mag barrels have a tighter bore than the old ones, I could sell my .44 barrel on fleaBay and with the proceeds, send the rest of the rifle in for a new .44 barrel so I can have a better choice of cast bullets.

And while it's there, I might as well get a Hornet barrel and 20 gauge barrels fitted too...

Just won(Gun Broker) a Buffalo Classic 45-70 with Banner scope for 227.00 + 35.00= 262.00  ;D . So there are a few good deals out these. This makes 5or 6 Classic I have now,but there is always room for one more. ;)
May drill and tap this one for a Unertel target scope have been wanting to do this for a long time. Later Tom 8) ;D
