when the projects end up being a case of the "tail wagging the dog"?
Never in my life did it occur to me to have or even contemplate a .303 British ANYTHING.
Ended up having a fella give me (as in zero dollars) a Smellie the other day. Occured to me that I actually had an ancient set of RCBS dies, but no guts, so I needed to buy parts to get them up to snuff. Then I discovered a baggie in a box-o-stuff that had 13 once fired cases, and an unopened box of Hornady 150 gr. spire points......and I don't even LIKE the stinkin' thing!
Then there was the time I was given a McMillan stainless .22-250 Ackley Imp. barrel for a 1903 Springfield......$140 for a set of dies and a whole pile of brass and then a stock, and then glass...
And NOW, one of my sons got a letter from the city tellin' him he's gotta get rid of a couple of cars, and I'm the proud owner of a '69 Mustang shell. At LEAST there's a title for the thing, and this time, Mrs. Walton has decided that she'd look good in a bright red Mustang. This project might get pricey!!!
Oh, yeah, almost forgot, you'll LIKE the .500!
