my dad loves my RB 454 and is itching to buy one in 44... I hate to second guess this company  WE'll see I guess. I think that he is going to get one no matter what I say ( I would still buy one/recomend one because I have not had problems with the ONE that I have). I hope All is cleared up with you Graybeard. If not, I don't blame you one bit for boycotting a company that has done you wrong. I guess we will see what comes out of all of this. I'll let you know how his is.
By the way, when I first shot my 454, 2 rounds in one cylinder did not fire. I was about to throw the gun back at the shop owner (Just kidding). Upon inspection, I had hard hits on both primers, but the primers did not look the same as the others in the box. They were completly flat on the outside (this is hard to explain) the primers were not rounded on the edges. they were sharp and looked like too close of a fit in the case if you know what I mean. I have no idea what the problem was, but the primers were very different from fired and unfired primers. i knwo that this was not the problem that Graybeard had (multiple ammo checks), but I wanted to share what happened to me. Later!
