My 50 Alaskan (formerly 45LC CR) is finally on it's way home from Wayne's shop. It has been a long and winding road that I was forced down because of H&R's sloppy chambering of my rifle. I first sent it to Wayne to have it reamed to 454 Casull. When I got it back, I found that the higher pressure caliber bulged cases - NOT WAYNE"S FAULT - strictly a sloppy original chamber from H&R. So, Wayne took it back and converted, complete with cut-rifle rebore, to 50 Alaskan. He completely deducted the cost of the original chamber work. You can't go wrong with Mr. York on your side. He is one generous and honest guy. BTW, he test fired the 50 Alaskan - and he chuckled on the phone, saying it was a "fun" little gun to shoot. I can hardly wait. THANK YOU, Wayne!
