Range report on my new .44
« on: November 19, 2010, 09:29:40 AM »

This is a four shot group at 100 yards that measured 2 1/4". This was with factory loaded 240 XTP's and these were shots 7 through 10 on a brand new gun/barrel. So all in all I'm pretty pleased with the way it shot... it does have one heck of a heavy trigger, no creep though just heavy, I'm guessing 7lbs or so. Anyway, I would call that minute of deer!

Nice shooting. I think you are correct, Looks like a dead deer gun ;)

You get more rounds thru her and she will probably tighten up more.

Nice group out of a brand new gun.

Mine really likes the WW white box 240SP loads.  And one of them also performed admirably on the 6 point I shot on Wednesday!

Fun little gun to shoot.
