......if you look real close, you can see the reflection of the bike in it's oil spot. Glad they still don't make 'em like they used too. Still, it's a sweet lookin' scooter. They WERE wonderful bikes for their time tho and are what made Harley what it is today.

I'm hoping the return of warm weather will revive this thread. Seein' how and where other folks ride has been interesting.

Sorry but that is not oil. It is water as I just got finished washing down the drive. As I have O oil in my primary. It is a belt drive Primary by BDL. I have done many upgrades to the old scooter since I built it from scratch. As in from the bare frame. I have had Flat Heads/Knuckle Heads and Pans. And this is my latest. I wish I kept the 65 Pan though.

I would say a few other choice words but if you can not say anything nice do not say anything at all.

JesterGrin, What were you washing off the driveway?...Oil?...Hahaha, Sorry, please chalk this up to a ripe situation and perhaps some cabin fever?

I know that you take great pride in your ownership and have countless man hours involved. While you have taken the steps to correct any leakage, buck would be correct regarding the history and I believe that is all he meant.

There is no meaness here and we ride everything. I would love to own a bike like yours but at present, am kind of strapped to purchase tires needed for my 96' Kawasaki Vulcan. We do get heated at times but mainly because the Internet does not have a face.

I have not always rode a Harley. I have had lots of others. But the Jap models I liked best years ago were the Old Kawasaki 750 Triple 2 stroke and my 1978 Honda CBX with a few upgrades lol. Both were great Wheel Standers :).

I thought I would find a picture of a CBX to put on here. :)

I rolled up to the light on my new 77' model 750 Kaw twin cylinder four stroke thinking that I would probably run the guy who was already sitting there but when I saw it was the 750 triple 2 stroke, I didnt even look at him ;D

I had owned the Kaw 500 triple two stroke before that 750, reflections are that it was pretty light for it's overall power.

For there day they were light and had lots of power with easy upgrades. Many were turned into Drag bikes.

And you are right they did not handle all that well and you better think about stopping lol. But they were very quick and nice Wheelie bikes. :). Sorry in those days I spent more time on the back wheel than on both lol.

As for the CBX I would add a bit more Oil for when I did my long Wheelies so the oil pick up would not go dry too soon. But I was still limited to stand it up to about 130 MPH before I had to set the front wheel down. :).

montana.
i was thinking someone should pick an idea for the next picture challenge....like "your bike next to a giant mound of snow"; so that guys have something to keep an eye out for, or a reason to pick a given destination to get the picture to post.
how about your bike with a bird in the picture?
