I have to mill off the front sight ramp and cut a new dovetail because it is about .100 too high, then just a little more work on the breach plug and it is done.  I fired a few primers in it and the fat fireing pin on the Huntsman frame works fine.  I did have to machine out the inside of the frame so the thicker locking lug would fit, but the length is fine and it locks up good.  Did you bag a PD?  Larry

One thing I did discover on this is that the older Huntsman frames use a narrower underlug which will not allow a barrel stubbed into a modern shotgun barrel to fit directly into the older huntsman.  Not a problem making a ML for a modern frame however.  My solution was to mill out the Huntsman frame rather than narrowing the underlug.  Just some of the things you learn I guess.  Larry

Ah.....may I venture a guess that it is narrower since no extractor/ejector is required?
BTW Kurt, I have some Nambu's and the mould to make some trial 32 Maxi's for you. I'll try to get the pot going soon.

I am thinking it was and effort to keep from being classified as a firearm by the ATF.  The CF barrels would not quite fit them.  The fat fireing pin was also an effort to make it a ML I think.  Ultimately this failed and they were forced to make up the ML only frame with the very short underlug.  Don't really know, but this seems reasonable to me.  Larry

That is pretty much the jist of it Larry. I may try some hot loads latter on with a centerfire frame. Kurt
