Hello I know from hunting with my handis that this is true...
"3. Place the front rest just ahead of the trigger guard under the hinge, if you push the guard right into the front rest, it will be in the same position each time. On my rest, the rear sling stud is also against the rear rest." -From the stickies.
Here is my delema, the only bi-pods I have ever seen hook to the front sling swivel. and shooting from a day pack, may or may not sit just right under the hinge ( might be fine, just trying to plan out all the kinks before hand.) Do any of you have a home made rest for Handi hunting that may be simple? How did you adapt it? I have "those other guns" but the group I hunt with always love to see me do the job with JUST a single shot.

but the thought of a LONG shot at all free hand makes me cringe and I know I won't take the shot if it is at all marginal. So anyone with an idea - please share. I even considered buying another forend to modify but want to weigh all options before I go that extreme.
( Respectfully- please don't start a debate on long shots, we will be practicing a lot out to 400yds so all shots will be within our comfort zone. Thanks)
Thanks in advance, Brent thejanitor
