Lil_Hunter, you did just fine on the purchase.
Most of them are in the $189-$215 ballpark, with Romanians being on the low end, then Polish, then the Yugo M57s at the high end. Soviet not included because it isn't a readily available surplus in the price range that we're discussing.
Add another $10-$15 for shipping
Add $10 for a hand pick.
Add another $20 - $25 for the two boxes of ammo if you order it.
Add 2% if you use a credit card when ordering from most outfits (SOG for sure).
Also, I don't believe there is a need to replace the firing pin. I think we are confusing the CZ52 with the TTC. The Cz52 is supposed to have a brittle firing pin, and it is recommended not to dry fire that particular pistol. I haven't heard anything similar about the TTC. I did buy a spring kit for mine, and I recommend replacing the springs in these old guns if they need it. If it operated fine when you test fire it, what the heck, shoot it. But you might go ahead and do the springs, because if there is any wear and tear on your main recoil spring, it isn't good to the frame, and the new spring will protect your gun as well as taming the recoil a bit.
You basically got a mint one with free shipping, free handpick, and two boxes of ammo for free.
All in all, a great deal in my book.
Did you get a minty holster along with the pistol?
Mine came with an unissued holster, an extra mag and a cleaning rod.
