I don't know about accuracy.  That would likely depend more on how the individual rifle liked those rounds.  The 7mm 08 is a very inherently accurate round, however.

I traded my Handi 7-08 off, it was one I couldn't get to shoot accurate. It does well in my Encore rifle and pistol though..............

I really don't see your point.  Best and worst for what?  Clearly you're using some criteria I don't know.  The 25 06 uses lighter bullets and gets greater velocity and therefore a flatter trajectory for most of the bullet weights it uses.

In the same bullet, 120 grains, the ballistics are near the same.

The most common bullet for the 7mm 08 is 140 grains, which is twenty grains more than the heaviest of the 25 06. 

The point being made, and I stand by it, is that with the same bullet, the two guns produce near identical ballistics.  That's the only point I'm making.  Or actually, defending, since it was another poster who made it.

Handi's will easily handle the 'light Mags'.  But it's not an issue.  Hornady has discontinued those in favor of a new round that produces about 200 fps more with a propriatary powder with the same pressure as the 'non-magnum' loads.  44 Man

Well Spanky, according to UPS you should be holding your 7-o8 by Friday.

For what its worth I have had several different rifles in this caliber and all have shot wonderfully well. Very easy to load for, large selection of components as well as factory ammo, and kills deer like magic for me. My son killed two does the last day of season with my favorite old Remington 788 in 7-08 using handloaded 120gr Nosler BT's at around 125 and 150 yds each and both fell in their tracks before they knew what happened. I have completely fallen in love with the 7mm's in the last few years and especially the 7-08 and 7x57. If you are not a handloader I will also tell you that you just about cannot go wrong with the plain old Green and Yellow Remington Core Lokt 140 grainers either.
