I have hit a new low and it's harshing my mellow

I bow hunted for many years, it's a great thing to do, and I recommend it highly. My old Darton's wood laminate limbs just got to where it didn't shoot those arrows as quickly as I thought it should, and my old shoulder got to where it didn't want to hold that string at full draw any more, and I gave it up.

I used camo, but not like some folks I knew...even the face paint, hahaha.

Getting shot out of a tree was never a thought, maybe falling asleep and crashing to the ground, or slipping while climbing into a stand, but getting shot.....never, hell boys, if someone was even close to shooting range of my tree, I let them know I was there, who in their right mind would set there and let someone take a shot at them?

Actually, I should say that his negligence in failing to signal his presence with blaze orange is wasting my time in the woods.
Questor:
I dont think his presence there effects your squirel hunting a great deal, all you have to do is move. On the other hand, your presence in the area could ruin his setup for weeks if you leave any kind of scent trail. He definately should have signaled you that he was there though.

Your right, throw out all you camo it’s not needed to kill deer.  As a mater of fact now that I think of it you should probably keep a chain saw running next to you too.  I have seen deer a number of times when out cutting wood, so why bother trying to be quite.

All I will say is do as you wish, but I have hunted over the years in the full range of none to full camo and you can kill deer all ways.  However if you want to improve your odds of not getting spotted by the old wise trophy buck then you better use every advantage you can.  Or you can just leave it to luck.  It’s worked before.

Sorry, but I’ll stick to what years of experience have taught me and keep my camo.
