I have a encore pistol that has a 450 GNR 15 1/2 barrel with a muzzle brake. It was using 405 brass but is now using 50 caliber Alaskian brass, and is necked down to a .458. I use Barnes bullets. I use the 350 grain bullets the most, but I can shoot 500 grain bullets in it. I shoot it with two hands. It is manageable, but it is a real handful. It kicks more than any other pistol I have even shot. I use a scope and shoot 1" groups. At the very beginning I was shooting larger groups, which I think was due to fact I was flinching in anticipating the big kick I was going to receive after I pulled the trigger. After time, I got use to the big kick, and I shot better groups. My 50 caliber S/W pistol is a wimp in kick compared to the 450 GNR kick
