Yes, I got on the list for an action true. They said 3 months, we will call when we are close, fine, sounds great. I called in three months and asked for a educated guess on where I was at on the list, Lisa told me something like 38th, should be in the next month or so, and I said OK, I have lots of guns, really not a prob. I called in a couple of months and asked where I was on the list and she said, sorry we have been busy, and I said OK where am I on the list and she looked and told me something like there are 50 people in front of you because we are so busy. I was a little P.O.ed with the growth of the list, but I was sure I wanted them to do the work because of there reputation. After nine months I called and she said it was taking up to a year to get work done. You know what, I have waited longer than that for a blueprint job on a 700 and did not complain because the smith was honest when he told me he would get to me when he could, but If I was in any kind of hurry, take it to another gunsmith, "that he recomended as doing good work". I will not send them SSS any work of mine after being misled at best. I have no idea how many jobs got moved in front of mine and at this point I don't care. There are many good gunsmiths out there for Savage rifles that will not blow smoke in an orifice that does not desire smoke to be blown into such. Screw me once your bad, screw me twice my bad!
