Are 300-325 grain cast lead bullets compatible with the light weight and twist rate of the .44 Handi ?

What are the heaviest cast bullets that are reasonable  with  the .44 twist rate ?

I took my buck last year with the Leverlution ammo at 135 yards (with rangefinder).  My .44 is my favorite deer gun.
It has a $50 shotgun type scope on it.
