Have you guys done this to me? All I did was buy a new NEF shotgun, & in the process of trying to find out more info on NEF, found that NEF is H & R, & from there I decided I had to have a single shot (Handi) rifle. Couple months later, I find a .223 synthetic, think about it a few days & buy it (really wanted something I could hunt deer with, .243 or larger). Then, I find this board. Send in the .223 to be fitted with .308 & 20 ga barrels (in Feb, still waiting). More reading on GBO. Decide a .45-70 would be cool, if I find one I'll buy it, but likely won't ever actually find one. Fast forward a couple weeks to a stop at Fisherman's to check the ammo situation, & lo & behold, on the rack are a couple of Handi's. One looked real interesting. Gotta ask. Yep, .45-70 synthetic (I actaully like the synthetics, although had to weight the stock on this one). I'll take it. Two weeks later, walk into Bimart to check the ammo situation. Walk out with a .17hmr sportster. I'm thinking, that's it, I'm done. Of course, I'm stilll reading this board nearly daily. Decide a CR45 would be cool to have, maybe. So what happens, but I go to pickup my new Bond Arms Ranger, and lo & behold, a new CR45 up against the wall. Ask to look at it, ask the guy if they normally stock them. Nope, just ordered it to see what it looked like. "I'll take it". You guys are killing me. Not to mention my wife if she ever figures it out.
