The Yokeukelele Snub Nose is an NEF 44 mag that I personally turned the barrel to 16 1/2 in and put a special taper crown. It is one of the most fun rifles I have shot and shoots good. Today (Early Sunday Morning) I took number 6 Coyote with my toy. Hope to get a photo to go with this later this week. I don't have access to a Lathe now.

I was using my Whacked Woodpecker backed up with a Acrylic Kat Killer (Game Call) for added alertness. Then I used a Starved Starling for last minute dressing.

As you know the old Yokeukelele is a single shot single barrel. When I sit it down against the log to retrieve the Yote I saw whiskers turning and running across the beaver dam. If I had only reloaded and looked around. Well life is full of IFS. This is the same place I killed a huge Tom (Bob Cat)with my T/C 54 Muzzle loader.

The old 44 Yokeukelele screamed and the yote rolled.

The other side of the coin is slipping and hurting my back again. Oh well still smiling.

You've got to post a picture. The short .44 not the coyote, we know what they look like, but I have to see this 16.5" .44

I have an extra long hand grip and it looks even shorter than it actually measures. It just looks like fun. I have already taken pictures but waiting on my brother to email them back to me. The Coyote don’t have much hair this time of year. Looked shaved with close clippers.

Are you trying to tell us that a 44 Mag is a coyote gun? A 54 muzzle loader is a bob cat gun? Don't you know that those guns are not suited for predators?

I would very much like to see your "bobbed" 44 Mag. Just for curiosity sake, what was the year of manufacture of your 44? Since you said it shoots so well, I wanted to know if it is '07 or '08 or if it is an earlier model. What size bullets are you using (weight and diameter)?

You just keep taking those predators with those big bore guns. You will need to add a 45-70 to your collection. They can shoot out past 1000 yards are MOA and can take any thing on paws or hooves. Nothing works better.

Anything is a coyote gun or predator gun as long as you know your range limitations. I once killed a yote with a .22 rimfire.

Those are my two 44 mags. As you know one NEF and a Marlin. I am just a blooming nut about my guns.

If you want to see muzzle blast... Shoot my Mosin Nagant M44 in 7.62x54r about day light, and the sky lights up. Yep I have blast a Yote with it also.

I got the idea from a flame thrower and pressure washer. Direction of force after exiting... T/C does something like this at times. I concave/tapered the side walls, then I cut the actual crown .100 flat in the bottom of the concave bowl. (like a little flat washer) Hoping to force the excess gas to ball up like your fist around a ball. Utilizing the expelled gas for a little tail wind. Did it work don't have a way of telling. I am however very satisfied with the stability this little pug spits out factory ammo. It is just a lot of fun and very little kick. Could shoot it all day and not hurt. FUN FUN FUN! The old Yokeukelele plays great music, at a good volume.

I like the wall paper, and the kidding. Like Pockets said enjoy life it aint a dress rehearsal!

Great looking guns!!!!

I just put a .44mg NEF on lay-a-way and was wondering how it compares with the Marlin .44 for accuracy and felt recoil? Biggest (gun) mistake I've made in recent years was letting my Marlin .44mag go.
