kind of like the check in stations were. I miss them too.
I know what you are saying GRIMJIM...There is still some comaderi around here even though it happened at the unloading dock of the meat packing plant.hahaha
Bad part was that 2007 was the first year that I had not received a pin in 26 years. I guess that I could have got one of these but I am getting too cranky to put up with the mail order thing.
Sad part is that I have decent hand drawn maps of five different areas I have hunted over these years. A kill is recorded on the map via penciling in the year taken and placing a circle around it. Foot notes at the bottom
cover the sex, weight, yardage, along with how the deer reacted to the shot and how far it traveled.
This might seem to be redundant, but it is amazing that I can look at these years and descriptions and usually get a very clear mental picture of the said deer up to the point of taking the shot.
