i think she already does . i get up at like 0300 every night just to go call my wife and hear my little baby cackle and wine in the back ground.

Congrats!  You made me remember that I was half a world away when my first daughter was born.  Almost 40 years ago now.  No phone contact back then, the Red Cross notified me.  Enjoy the wonderful sound of your child's cry brother.
