yesturday at 3:00 pm texas time my daughter born . both baby and mom are fine, the labor took 9 hours. most of that time i was out on a mission but i got back just in time to call her right before she came out i got to hear my daughter's first screams for the other side of the world. it was about as good as it could get with me being over here.

we had some complication with her just a few days ago when she started rolling around and got her cord wrapped around her but some how just before they were about to do a C-section she untied herself and decided to come out her own way. now i'll i have to do is wait 16 more days and i'll get to hold my daughter .

thanks guys this is a awesome time in my life right now , i talked to my wife Jessica just a few minutes ago both of them are doing great and are now out of the hospital and staying with jessica mom for a while, Izabelle seams to be one of the best baby's ever she rarely crys and really isn't fussy at all. i can't wait to get home now even if it is only for a short time i'm so home sick right now i just have to see her .


marv and digger: i've taught my mom both my sister and my wife to shoot about as good as i do , so i'll tell you what when Izabelle is old enough to come to a P-dog shoot i bet she out shoots you two old farts , and my wife, hell she out shooting me now.


oh and speaking of being old back when i first got talk to all of you and first got in to handis i was just barely in high school now i'm out of school half way through my time in the army have a wife and a daughter , bet that make you old farts feel old.

Fantastic and congratulations Mitchell. Your life has changed and will never go back to the way it was. But it's with out a doubt, a good thing. I have a daughter, age 34, and a son, age 37. They were the center of my life. Then the got married, now I have three new young'ins, and two more on the way. That will bring me up to five grand children. Children are great. They give you lots of things to look forward to. God bless you, Jessica and Izabell. Be safe these last few days.
Thank you for all you've done and all your going to do for our freedom. And thank you for giving freedom to others around the world.

Of course I remember that. I almost lost a .280 Handi that week.

My teenage namesake was laying in a hospital in ChiliCheese Ohio, and I'm thinking "gee, I wish I could do something for that kid."
Well, I've got these two .280 Handi Rifles, and he's got none... But before I could decide if I really wanted to do that you were out of the hospital and it looked like you'd go on to lead a normal life without my help, so I came to my senses right quick.

Hey, that reminds me, I did send Matt & Heather $200 worth of JC Penney and Kohl's gift cards last year, and never even heard if they got them.
