How do, Kevin!
I saw the favorable review in the American Rifleman a couple months ago about the new Winchester 94-410 lever action shotgun.
I must admit, the first question is "WHY?" The only advantage I can think of for a .410 caliber shotgun is that it's relatively quiet, low recoil, and good for new or young shooters. As a casual pot-shooting gun, it's great. The .410 has long been classed as either a beginners' or an experts' gun.
Other than that, the disadvantages are many: very limited range, expensive shells, limited wing-shooting range, and even with the 1/2 oz slugs, very limited power for use against dangerous targets. A 12, 20, or 16 would be better.
On the plus side, I must admit that it's a CUTE item for the lever action fan. It's real value is probably in CAS, where only lever action ror double shotguns are allowed.
