My shooting buddy and I bought the AIM barrels, and got in under the wire. They sold out quickly!
These were barrels only, requiring switching the rollers, slide block and pin over to the new barrel.
He did his, but my pin punch wasn't up to the task - I need a better tool. He is waiting on new rollers, block and pin to make two complete assemblies for easier swapping. After a month, the parts still haven't arrived. I'm waiting to see if his arrive before I order them.
As to shooting, the POI was close at 15 yards, watching him shoot. It did stovepipe a couple times. I have read of others needing to tweak the extractor a bit to work well with 9mm.
Overall, it seemed okay.
I have an 800 round case of 7.62 ammo, but do like the idea of being able to use a more easily available load I can get locally.
