I've never used a Teflon finish, but I've seen several and handled guns with it. I like them myself, but I don't like the money that it costs for a good one, usually about $150-$200 or more. Teflon finishes are all about the preparation of the metal, and if it isn't prepped right, the finish won't be worth a darn. I've seen several two tone guns and they look pretty neat.
If it were me, I'd either get the stainless barrel and leave it matte, or I'd get a chome-moly and have the whole thing parkerized. I think that the parkerized finish looks as good as the Teflon, and it's a lot easier and faster for the smith, and a lot less expensive. Then I'd get either a Bell & Carlson stock for it (if money is tight), or go whole hog and get a McMillan stock with the gel colors mixed in (if money is no object), that way the finish won't wear off. I think that a parked gun with one of the McMillan camo or marble finish stocks would be a cool

looking piece of equipment. And you know that it's going to shoot too.....
