Straight walled 300WM Wildcat
« on: October 01, 2006, 05:54:44 PM »
Has anyone ever made a straight walled, or close, big bore caliber from a 300WM case?

What caliber was it and what's it called, if so?  What was COAL?

My thoughts is could easily be a .400, with just enough taper for good feeding.  Would that be a 400 Win Mag?

Nevermind, I was at work thinking, when I posted this.  Just got home and looked at steves pages and see there IS two, they're called the 450 Marlin and 458 Win Mag.

It was a good idea.
