Wow, great article.  Now to find which one doesn't get overrun due to the article!  Actually have a lot of private land that I can hunt on but also a lot of hunters around here.  would be great to get down to the southern tier to take the rifle!

How about "West" Point. Can't miss. The place is over run with deer, with quality bucks. Sure you might have to travel a bit, but just the experience of hunting centerfire within 50 miles of Manhattan where rifle has always been legal, ought to be treat enough.

Good article...OR bad if you wanted to keep those spots a secret...I used to hunt Hanging Bog in Allegany County...Nice area.
