New miracle cure
« on: September 27, 2006, 04:54:34 AM »
I was feeling low this weekend when my son was out back shooting his compound bow and I went to shoot it. I just finished 2 months of physical therapy for a blown out shoulder and when I went to shoot his bow I found I wasn't able to even draw the bow. I used to hunt with this same bow but now I can't even draw it. I was feeling low, because I was looking forward to bowhunting with my 2 sons this year.
So what's the best therapy for a bad shoulder....order up a new Excalibur Phoenix of course.  It's a miracle cure....my arm feels better already...lol.
Can't wait, it'll be here Thursday, in time to get it sighted in for bowseason. I live in Ohio and we can use xbows during bow season but I had never considered one before. I was never anti-xbow, I just always preferred a compound bow. It's funny how age and injury can make a person look at things from a whole new perspective though. Who knows...after my sons shoot my Excalibur they may even want one.

Good Choice on the Xbow! Good luck hunting. If you have any questions the guys at the Excaliber website are a huge help.  Jim
Said I never had much use for one, never said I didn't know how to use it.

Congratulations on your choice in Xbows. I still miss shooting my compound and recurves as well (still have them though) but the pain is too much to stand. You will come to love your Excalibur.   ;D
Will hunt for food.
