454 loadings
« on: September 24, 2006, 01:20:09 PM »
Hi, I`m from Argentina, and own a FA83 7 1/2 " 454, premier grade. Have two questions for this most enlightened forum, 1) I find that after a few shots, can be 10 or 15 I have to tighten the screws on the frame of the revolver, whatever the power of the ammo, and 2) here laws are getting pretty restrictive concerning guns and that reaches powders and primers which come from your country, so at the moment I have access to AA nš9 and 2400, which would you suggest for a 300gr. bullet?
Thanks in advance, mark

I solved the screw backing out problem with some blue loc-tite.  The Freedom Arms website has loading data for their bullets, which includes both AA #9 and 2400.
