I'm gonna make it easy on the guy, since you asked, I would say Kimber. They make a pistol for every "different occassion". I have 3 Kimbers, no Sigs, have fired every manufactures(to include wolf) ammo and even some reloads, and have never had a malfunction. Have probably shot close to 4000 rounds out of the 3 combined.
But like everyone else has said, I would ultimately get whichever pistol you shoot best or feels best. If you can shoot them, and maybe even a few other of the top sellers out there, that may really help you with your decision. Check with ranges that allow you to rent or ask some buddies to shoot their stuff, that's always fun....
