S&W 329PD question

I've had mine a copy of weeks and put around 70-80 rounds thru it. Anyone with one is this okay? Cylinder received some powder discolorations first time fired but now after this weekends range session the cylinder is contacting the frame on each shot (to the point where the titanium finish is rubbed off and down to bare metal). Cylinder must rock back when the round goes off and is touching about a 1/16 x 1/8 inch area behind the detent slot.
Is this the same on other 329PDs? Is this gun not safe?

I haven't shot a 329PD but that doesn't sound right. I would call Smith and talk to them about it, their customer service is good once again so if there is a problem, I'm sure they will make it right.

Well.... A quick email and S&W wrote back to send the pistol to them. They paid for the shipping (next day air), sent me a letter that they received, sent it back in 7 days with a new frame with same serial number. Awesome service.
