Rachel and I are asking about ejecting brass

Hi everyone -
Does anyone have an idea what is happening in our Savages?
We have a Savage 30-06 Model 11 and .223 Rem Model 11 that are leaving the ejected MT brass resting upon the shell to be loaded.
See our recent posts.
Thanks for any help.

Mine is starting to do the same thing. I understand that there is a new extractor that is steel instead of brass, you might call Savage for a replacement.

The problem is the extractor. Call Savage with your rifle's serial numbers and they will send you the new streel part. Takes about 3 minutes to change
