Finally Finished

I finished my first cannon today and it didn't go as planned.  I had originally wanted to make a mountaiun howitzer carriage but as I became aware of the degree of difficulty, and the tools required, I went with something much simpler.  It's not my best work, and I had to give up on metal trunnion caps, but I am happy with it.

Well done! the trunnions look nice.I like that sort of inventiveness when one is confronted with the limitations of ones skills.Without it one would never get anything finished.
 I had the same problem and one day when I make the 'Finally Finished 'post you will see my solution

Actually doing a simple comparitive., between the cannon.,the GOEX.,and the Gorilla thats infact a pretty nice size piece of Brass. I LIKE IT. Good Job VERN !!!
