Removing the Stock from An A-Bolt

 I purchased a Browning A-Bolt from a friend and want to change the stock, Are there any tips or tricks I need to know.

If you have ever taken the stock off of a bolt action rifle, you can do the same to an A-bolt.

it will be REALLY on there, so be careful but don't be afraid to TAP the barrel gently with a non-marking rubber mallet or the palm of your hand to snap it loose. A-Bolts are glass bedded and, in mine, the bedding basically glued the barreled action into the stock.
