stalker vs. safari
« on: August 16, 2006, 10:24:04 AM »
Any significant arguements for or against the lightweight stalker vs. the safari?
Besides the fact that the safari doesn't have irons.
 I'm interested in a .338.

I have had both, to tell you the truth I couldn't find much differnce between the 2 expect the stalker is lighter, it kicks a bit more but its lighter, mine were in .300win mag I still have the stalker its my go to deer gun. I would deffently buy a safari again they look a little nicer. But you can't go wrong with either.

The weight diffence is about a pound, you should be able to pick a sarafi up for around $600 used give or take a little, not to sure on the new price prolly 800 or so.
