Holy cow!  How old is that photo?  Is that recent?  Good grief, I might soil myself if I was stalking pigs and saw that thing...

Is your source for this information something other than the internet?  There's no question it's a might big hog.  But I have doubts about any details gleaned from on-line sources.  I've seen too many hoaxes and cons.

I'd say that if that hog is 1,126 pounds, then the hunter must weigh around 500.  Seriously, Hogzilla appeared to be larger, and if you can trust National Geographic, the live weight of Hogzilla was around 800 pounds (just watched the documentary on it a few days ago).  No doubt its a big hog, but my guess would be somewhere around 600 to 700 pounds.

Ya know curdog, another old fart, possibly older than me made a good point.  Actually he made several. The first was a safer kill with a rifle or slug gun, but, the most important was being humane. I'm not critisizeing anyone but, I had not thought about that. Can I still come and hunt with a gun instead?

Marckc,

If your dogs had him bayed up...let em have at him, climb the nearest tree and film it.  ;)

Doubt it was 11oo lbs.  A buddy killed one that was 700+ lbs and it was about the same size as this one if not a little bigger.  That's still one nice pig!

Well, Hogzilla was estimated to weigh at least 850 by the Nat. Geographic team that dug him up. Claims were over 1000. However this pig makes Hogzilla seem like a juvenile. I would think it could easily go the claim.
That's a lot of pork chops.
