Aimpoint 9000 or Ultradot for a S&W 500
« on: August 09, 2006, 08:14:12 AM »
I have Ultradaots on my T/C's but will they hold up on the Smith?  A Weigand scope base and rings are in the works for either option but do I need 2, 3, or 4 rings?
Thanks-Ron

I had an Aimpoint on my 500 Mag and blew the red dot out. I then installed a Ultra-dot on it and have over 3000 rounds through the gun with the Ultrs-dot. I only have 2 ring's on mine.

I don't have either but I do have a leupole 2X on my 500 S&W works fine for me shooting up to 200 yds.
