Steve, my little brother has a CZ 527 American in .221 Fireball. He absolutely loves it. Duffy refuses to handload for some reason. The kid owns a safe-ful of rifles, shotguns and pistols but does not handload a one of them. I handloaded some for his CZ 550 Full Stock in 7x57mm with 160 grain Nosler Partitions and H414 powder. That rifle will put three slugs into a .75 inch circle with no sweat at all. He too, owns a CZ 550 American in 9.3x62, but continues to buy factory ammo at something like $40 a box. I got him some Graf & Sons Prvi Partizan ammo at $16 a box, but he'll still go down to his fav gun store and buy the more expensive stuff ... and then bitch about the price of ammo! Have never been able to figure hiim out. By the way, a fellow I knew in Grants, New Mexico, owned the CZ 9.3x62, but never once shot it, so it was new in box. His car broke down and he needed $250 in cash, fast. I gave him $350 for the rifle and Duffy, paid me for it. I wish I had kept it now. His .221 Fireball is one beautiful little rifle. The stock appears to be a fancy grade of American Walnut. He buys the Green Box ammunition, and is able to zap p-dogs out to 250 yards or so. Good luck on the 6.5x55mm. Tom Purdom
